Violin Lessons
Violin teacher Iveta Hlavenkova has been teaching the violin for over 15 years.
Several years teaching with The Music House in Leeds, Iveta now teaches for the Leeds Violin School, which she founded in 2018.

Individual violin lessons
Iveta Hlavenkova teaches beginner and intermediate violin students up to Grade 5 of the ABRSM examination body, and also advanced students Grade 6-8+. All ages are welcome from children as young as 3 years old to adults of retirement age.
Lessons are normally focused on learning to play classical music on the violin, but Iveta also teaches country folk fiddle music if requested. In addition, Iveta creates opportunities for her students to play together in duets, trios and ensembles, both at the student concerts she organises in Leeds and as members of her music groups and workshops which are also held in Leeds.
Iveta Hlavenkova's lesson fees will vary dependent on the time, location and frequency. So please do contact Iveta for the best price for you. There is a limited number of concessionary fees available - please ask for details.
Iveta is happy to offer a one-off initial lesson with no obligation to carry on

Violin masterclass
Iveta Hlavenkova's violin masterclasses are suited to students who are above Grade 8 ABRSM and who aim to reach a professional level.
Violin exams
Children and adults alike are offered the opportunity to enter the ABRSM violin exams when they are ready. Students are fully prepared in all aspects of the exam, including aural and music theory.
In addition, Iveta arranges for her students to rehearse with Mike Rodgers (pic right: 4th from left - without a violin!), an experienced, professional accompanist and piano teacher who accompanies in the exam itself.
