Iveta Hlavenkova teaches beginner and intermediate violin students up to Grade 5 of the ABRSM examination body, and also advanced students Grade 6-8+. All ages are welcome from children as young as 3 years old to adults of retirement age.
Iveta Hlavenkova's lesson fee ranges from £16 for 30 minutes to £30 for an hour, and a limited number of concessionary fees are available - please ask for details. Iveta is happy to offer a free initial meeting with no obligation in order to discuss whether lessons would be suitable.
Iveta Hlavenkova's violin masterclasses are suited to students who are above Grade 8 ABRSM and who aim to reach a professional level.

Lessons are normally focused on learning to play classical music on the violin, but Iveta also teaches country/fiddle music if requested. In addition, Iveta creates opportunites for her students to play together in duets, trios and ensembles, both at the student concerts she organises in Leeds and as members of her music groups and workshops which are also held in Leeds.

Violin exams are held at the Yorkshire College of Music & Drama in Leeds where Iveta has a teaching studio. Iveta's students have a 100% pass rate for ABRSM exams, and over 90% of her students at all grades pass with a Distinction.
